David Garrett is an associate with Boyle Brasher's Memphis, Tennessee office. Mr. Garrett's practice focuses on railroad defense, where he defends railroad corporations against claims brought under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA). Additionally, Mr. Garrett defends corporate clients against labor and employment claims brought pursuant to the Tennessee Human Rights Act (THRA), Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Garrett served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Walter L. Evans in Shelby County Chancery Court. While obtaining his law degree at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, he was a 2017 recipient of the Tennessee Supreme Court's Law Students for Justice award, recognizing exceptional pro bono service by law students.

Outside of work, Mr. Garrett enjoys league tennis and trips to the dog park with his pup, Fran.
