Mike concentrates his practice in the defense of traumatic and occupational injury claims against major rail carriers in multiple state and federal jurisdictions under the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA). Mike's jury trial experience includes successfully defending premises liability claims. To prepare for his career as a trial lawyer Mike focused on trial advocacy courses and programs in law school. Mike and a fellow Boyle Brasher LLC attorney placed first in a trial advocacy competition sponsored by the bar. Mike has clerked for a United States Magistrate Judge as part of a judicial externship program. He has successfully initiated and defended appeals on behalf of his clients in several state and federal appellate courts.

Mike enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and has completed several marathons. He enjoys travel and has collected some great stories and memories from his trips. Mike lives in St. Louis and is another of the firm's many Cardinal baseball fans.
