Brooks’s practice primarily involves the proactive defense of occupational injury cases brought against railroad clients under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. Brooks has FELA jury trial experience in the Shelby County Courts in Memphis, Tennessee. Brooks also represents clients in areas related to employment law, including defending claims alleging discrimination, unequal pay, and unpaid overtime. He defends asbestos FELA cases handled by Boyle Brasher LLC as national counsel for a major railroad. After law school and prior to joining the firm, Brooks worked as a judicial clerk on Tennessee appellate courts. As a result of his prior experience, Brooks is heavily involved in appellate work on behalf of the firm’s clients.
