Zora is a savvy and aggressive trial lawyer and experienced litigator well known for her fierce representation of her clients. Zora handles many
jury cases in Illinois and Missouri courts, both state and federal. She has a wealth of experience that informs her current practice including several
years as a prosecuting attorney handling serious sex crime cases for a large metropolitan prosecutor's office; she continues to do criminal defense work. For several years she was a member of a Phoenix, Arizona based civil litigation defense firm. Zora has had an extensive commercial litigation practice representing business owners in contract disputes, employment discrimination cases, and regulatory matters. Zora has been an instructor at seminars regarding evidence and trial practice procedures at both the federal and state level.
Zora grew up in Gary, Indiana in a household in which she became fluent in the Serbo-Croatian language that is widely spoken by Bosnian immigrants to the U.S. She has a significant practice among the local Bosnian community in St. Louis.
Zora and her family live in one of the far suburbs of St. Louis. There are rumors that at some point in her youth she was a motorcycle rider, but that is still unconfirmed. As a parent Zora has become actively involved with groups that advocate for children with learning and physical disabilities.
